There is art which defies our understanding of… art, not least of technology. Such is the case of the challenging nu-media work of Prokop Bartonicek, developed in close relation with contemporary experimental design. Following previous works realized both for the art world, the most prestigious fashion venues and the street art scene, this artist-designer-researcher-entrepreneur based in Berlin and Prague will present Phosphor 360 ver. B, an installation which is a prototype of a new visual mechanism connecting laser projection, mapping and generative motion graphics with an energy accumulating material.
Seems complicated and… it is! But the experience offered by these dynamic objects is on one of sheer audiovisual pleasure, this techno-aesthetics being today the symbol of the technoscientific future we’re just touching the surface. Digital craft rarely reaches this excellence.
